Paragliding and Alanya City Tour

Paragliding and Alanya City Tour is a full-package tour that includes paragliding and a full Alanya city tour. It is a full-day guided tour that takes around 9 hours from pickup to drop-off. The pickup time from the Side-area hotels is around 09.30. To join a paragliding tour, you don’t need prior experience. However, there are some age and weight restrictions. Participants must be at least 6 years old. Additionally, participants must weigh between 25 and 120 kg.
This tour aims to give you the paragliding experience during your holiday in Side. In addition, it aims to let you explore Alanya and enjoy a pleasant day after paragliding. If you are not interested in paragliding but are interested only in the Alanya city tour, you can check our Side Alanya full package tour. Kids or people who don’t want to do paragliding but enjoy the rest of the tour can join at lower prices.

The Tour Program
After we pick you up from the security gate of your hotel, we will drive for 1 hour to the Alanya Paragliding centre. Upon arrival, the instructors give you the necessary instructions, hand you your helmet, and drive to the Yassıtepe hill, where your flight will take place. Meanwhile, if you have non-flying participants in your group, they can watch you in action from the summit of the hill. At the launch point, the staff will prepare the parachute and make the necessary arrangements. One of the pilots will seat you in front of the paraglider, and he will attach himself behind you to the glide. When everything is ready, you will run towards the end of the hill and launch yourself into the air.
Soon, you will overcome your fears, enjoy the amazing views of Alanya from the air, and experience the incredible feeling of complete freedom. Meanwhile, the pilot will get your pics and record the whole experience while you are flying. After about 20 to 30 minutes of flying, you will land on the golden sands of Cleopatra Beach. Then, you will return to the paragliding centre to see the visuals of this fantastic experience.

Now, it is time to explore the gem of the Mediterranean, Alanya. Your guide will join you and first take you to Damlataş Cave. After you see this beauty of the nature, the guide will lead you to the cable car point which is near the Damlataş cave. It will take about 10 minutes to reach the highest point in Alanya on the cable car. At the summit, an incredible view of Alanya awaits you. You will have about 15 minutes to enjoy the scenery and take beautiful pics at this point. Then, the guide will lead you to the boat anchored at Alanya harbour.

Now, it is time to have a nice boat trip on the coastline of Alanya. The boat will sail towards the Shipyards, and we will make a swimming stop here during the tour. While you swim in the crystal-clear waters of Alanya, the staff will prepare your lunch. The lunch menu consists of BBQ chicken, rice, salad and bread. At the end of the swimming stop, you will have lunch on the boat, and the boat will sail towards the phosphorescent caves called Lover’s and Pirate Caves. After a photo stop at these caves, which are of extraordinary beauty, the boat will head back to the harbour.

After the boat docks in the harbour, the buses will bring you back to your hotel in Side, and the tour will officially come to an end.

Full Package Tour and Half Package Tour Choices
This excursion is a full-package tour including hotel transfers, a paragliding session, a cable car ride, Damlataş cave entry, lunch, a boat ride, and tour guiding. However, on this tour, you can skip the cable car and Damlataş Cave if you prefer. In that case, after paragliding, the tour guide will give you 2 hours of free time in Alanya. You will join the group on the boat after your free time. If you choose this half-package option, the tour will cost 10 euros per person less.
