Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery during the journey from Side to the fascinating city of Antalya. This excursion is a full-day guided Antalya tour that includes some of the city’s most popular attractions, a relaxing boat trip, and lunch.

The distance between Side and Antalya is approximately 70 km, and the journey takes around 1 hour depending on traffic conditions. During the tour, you will enjoy a relaxing sightseeing boat trip along the beautiful Antalya coastline. This enjoyable boat tour offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the cliffs of Antalya, and the city’s picturesque harbour.

After the boat trip, we head towards Antalya’s famous Old Town, Kaleiçi. Now it is lunch time! You will enjoy your meal in a cosy restaurant located in the heart of the historical district. The lunch menu includes grilled chicken, rice, salad, and bread. If you prefer, you can also choose delicious doner kebab as your main course.

After lunch, you will have about 2 hours of free time in Antalya Old Town. The narrow streets of Kaleiçi are filled with historical buildings, charming shops, cafés, restaurants, and many interesting attractions within walking distance. You can spend your free time exploring this beautiful atmosphere at your own pace and taking wonderful holiday photos.

At around 15:30, our guide will meet all guests again at the designated meeting point in the Old Town. The next stop of the excursion is the famous Karpuzkaldıran Waterfall. You will have around 30 minutes of free time to enjoy this impressive natural beauty spot and admire the stunning views of the waterfall flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.

After this final stop, we begin our comfortable return journey to Side and drop all guests back at their hotels at approximately 17:30.

Having wanted to experience more of Turkey than just the local area, we booked an Antalya tour with Side Excursions. We were a little apprehensive as you are never too sure when booking online. However I got lots of information from them via WhatsApp and we booked the tour. We were very pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the bus that picked us up. I’ve travelled on some dodgy transport before but this was in excellent condition and lovely and clean. The bus driver drove very well and we felt safe. We found ourselves to be the only English people on our tour but our very friendly guide made the point of telling us everything separately and ensuring we knew what we were doing. The group spilt up as we upgraded to the lunch, which was a very taste kebab and then a boat tour which, even though it was raining, was very nice. Antalya is very large and we got immersed into the shops and area. It was lovely to see the non tourist, local shops too. We found everyone to be friendly and enjoyed our day.
