Side Antalya Aquarium Trip

Located in the heart of Antalya, the Aquarium complex is perhaps the best tourist attraction in Antalya downtown. Thousands of species and tens of thousands of creatures of the oceans live in its 40 thematic aquariums. The longest tunnel aquarium in the world with a length of 131 meters and a width of 3 meters is located inside the main tank. This tunnel has a capacity of 5 million litres of water. The first part of the tunnel has one of the largest reef decorations in the world. This part of the tunnel connects to the underwater cave. The second part of the tunnel has sunken city Atlantis and Mediterranean themes and connects to the pirate shipwreck observation point. Here, you can sit and observe the sharks wandering among the treasures. In the third part of the tunnel, you will see a submarine home to many interesting creatures of the oceans. You will encounter many replicas of planes, ships, and submarine wrecks in the main tank and tunnels here. The decoration of these sections bears the signature of the famous Italian sculptor Benedetti.

There are 40 thematic sections in Antalya Aquarium covering seas and oceans of the world. They include the thematic sections of the Indian Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Red Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. Beside the world's oceans, there are numerous thematic sections of rivers such as the Nile, Amazon, and Asian rivers. Other examples of thematic sections include the Turkish seas and rivers, the tropical reef section, the herb aquarium section, and the shark tank. You will have the chance to watch the sharks during the regular feeding every day. You can even swim with the sharks here if you are brave enough. The total water volume in the aquariums is about 7.5 million litres, and thousands of underwater species live there. You will be amazed by the creatures of the underwater world in each section and it will be an unforgettable day out for you and your family in Antalya.

Antalya Aquarium building has a wax museum where 63 statues of world-famous people and celebrities are exhibited. In this section, you can take many photos with your favourite pop star or celebrity. The tour price includes Wax Museum admission. In addition to Wax Museum, Antalya Aquarium has 3 other entertainment sections where you can have enjoyable moments. These are Snow World and Ice Museum, Wild Park, and XD Cinema.
Snow World and Ice Museum is located in the complex with an area of 1500 square meters. The internal temperature here is -5 degrees and before you enter this magical place, you get protective gear. Everywhere here is covered with real snow and there are igloos, the house of St. Nicholas, and cafes inside. While others are evaporating outside under the Antalya sun, you will have the chance to play snowball with others in a cool and magnificent atmosphere.
Wild Park is specially designed to show you the wildlife of the rainforests, and the mysterious world of deserts and caves with all its realism. You can see the most poisonous snakes, the largest spiders, the most dangerous scorpions, lazy chameleons, and many more tropical creatures here.
In Oceanride XD Cinema, you can go on a 3D underwater journey composed of real visuals. With Captain Barbossa, you will witness the legends of the world seas, the romantic dances of sea lions, the incredible power of the Great White Shark, and many more in the closest way to reality here.
Entrance to entertainment sections other than the wax museum is not included in the tour price. In addition to entertainment sections, there are also fast food restaurants, cafeterias and souvenir shops within the building.

Antalya Old Town and Kurşunlu Waterfall visits are also on the itinerary of this trip. You will have 2 hours of free time to explore the Old Town of Antalya. Antalya has many attractions such as the Fluted Minaret, Hadrianus Gate, the Clock Tower, Ottoman houses, cute cafeterias, and restaurants. All these tourist attractions are within walking distance. On the way back, Kursunlu Waterfall will welcome you with its emerald waters and incomparable beauty. There will be a half an hour's break at this stunning place.
