Altınbesik Cave And Ormana Village Tour
Altınbesik National Park is located near the village of Ürünlü, in the district of İbradı in Antalya. The cave in this park is the largest underground lake in Turkey and the third largest in Europe. There are travertines and natural bridges inside the cave and the interior temperature of the cave is 16 degrees in all seasons of the year. Düğmeli (Buttoned) Houses

Altınbesik Cave And Ormana Village Tour
One of the most beautiful examples of Anatolian architecture is the "Buttoned Houses". There are more than 300 buttoned houses in Ormana Village and these houses get their names from their authentic architectural style. These houses were built without using any mortar or cement. The cedar trees were interlocked with each other and the framework was built up. Then, stone masonry was carried out on this framework. These houses are called “buttoned” since the parts of the frame outside the building have the appearance of buttons. During the Altinbesik Cave and Ormana Village Tour, you will see these houses on-site and also have the opportunity to visit them.

A Village Mosque Visit

Altınbesik Cave And Ormana Village Tour
On this tour, you will also have the chance to visit a local mosque, which is about 300 years old. Local people will open the doors of their holy places to you. The tour guide will give you information about this mystical place and the religious rituals of Muslims. Mosques are holy places for Muslims just like churches in Christianity. It would be appropriate to be quiet and wear decent clothes during the mosque visit.

Anatolian Village Life

Altınbesik Cave And Ormana Village Tour
Side can be considered as a typical holiday destination. In Side, you can have fun in clubs, restaurants and on sandy beaches, but a little further away, in the countryside, people live away from the developing tourism industry. On this tour, you will get to know the real Anatolian village life and meet warm and hospitable Anatolian people. You may want to chat with the locals and have a cup of Turkish coffee at the village coffee house. There is also a small marketplace in the village. Here, if you wish, you can taste or buy the organic products of locals.
