It is a 7-hour guided tour and is available on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Pick-up time from the hotels in the Side region is around 08.40.
Sapadere Canyon is about 100 km away from Side. We will drive from Side to Sapadere Canyon through the twisting and turning roads of the Taurus Mountains and pass through the city of Alanya during the journey. You will have a walk through the pathways of Sapadere Canyon. A lunch consisting of 100% nutritious and delicious local products will be served. It consists of grilled fish or chicken, rice, pasta, and salad. You can also taste local organic dishes prepared in traditional Anatolian style at our restaurant by the canyon.

The relaxed and rejuvenating 750-meter walk will leave you refreshed and happy to your very core. The soothing sound of rushing water will calm you and is a natural therapy. The pleasant weather and beautiful scenery are all more than enough for you to make memories and have fun. A natural pool and Sapadere Waterfall will greet you at the canyon’s end. If you can muster up enough courage to dive into the icy water, you’re even free to swim in the cold waters of this natural pool below the waterfall.
The stalagmites and stalactites formed in the Dwarves Cave (Cuceler Cave) are worth all your cameras. The beautiful natural patterns are interesting and spellbinding in a way that leaves the visitors mystified.
This tour also includes an hour of free time in Alanya. You can shop in the vibrant town centre, explore the attractions, or have drinks in cosy cafes by the beach. After this break in Alanya, we will be on our way back to Side and will drop everyone off at their hotels at around 16.30.

Sapadere Canyon Is A Wonder Of Nature

Sapadere Canyon is 360 meters long and 400 meters high. It is formed by water, wind, and ice erosion over thousands of years. Wooden walkways provide easy access to visitors. The walking platform along the canyon is made of wood and steel and is environment-friendly. While walking on the platform, you will be amazed by the rapid water flowing over the rock steps, many waterfalls, and rare animals and plants. A natural pool and Sapadere Waterfall will greet you at the end of the pathway. It is possible to swim in the natural pool under the waterfall. We have to warn you, though, because the water temperature here is about 10 degrees, even in the middle of summer! You will breathe the clean, fresh air of the Taurus Mountains and enjoy the therapeutic effects of the canyon all day long.

The Dwarves Cave – A Magical Place To Be At

Cüceler Cave, also well known as the "Dwarves Cave", is a significant attraction on the way to Sapadere Canyon. Located just 3 km from Sapadere Canyon, this cave attracts many tourists throughout the year. The patterns of stalagmites and stalactites have such intricate shapes that it feels like an artist had chosen the rocks and wax to make them. Another name for this cave is "rainbow cave", as the stalactites here have a fantastic array of colours. You can take pics of these patterns and be fascinated by nature's artistry. The Dwarves Cave is also a natural healing place for people with asthma or other respiratory problems. This cave has a legend of its own, which the locals love telling to visitors from all over the world. It is rumoured that a dwarf hid in this cave after escaping from his house. You can see the life of that dwarf right from your perspective.

Beautiful canyon near Alanya with ice cold water. We were eager to see somewhere new and didn’t regret joining this tour. A nice wooden path along the canyon and at the end there is a gorgeous waterfall. If you are brave enough you can try swimming in ice cold water beneath the waterfall. I tried it but a few minutes was enough for me 🙂
The lunch was good and our guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and fun. We also had a visit to a cave on the way to the canyon and had some free time in Alanya town centre. The communication with the agent was smooth and everything was as advertised on the website.
This tour is a nice choice if you are fed up with the holiday activities and have a nice day out with breathtaking views.
