Day1
The tour officially begins when you are picked up from your hotel and set out to the Taurus Mountains in the Alpine belt of Central Anatolia. After a breakfast stop, you will set out to Konya City, where we will give you a lunch break. After that, you will get to visit the Mevlana Museum in Konya City to gain insight into Turkish Sufi culture and history. The next step on the schedule is a visit to the underground city of Saratli Kirkgöz in Aksaray province. This early Byzantine underground city, which has numerous rooms, tunnels, and living areas such as kitchens, stables, warehouses, meeting rooms, and churches, will surely fascinate you.
After that, you will visit a whirling dervish ceremony. This mystical ceremony takes its roots in hundreds of years of Anatolia’s religious traditions. It will surely be a fantastic experience to view the dervishes whirling in complete harmony with Sufi music. Then, your fun-filled day ends, and you will check in to your hotel to relax. Day2
If you want to take a hot-air balloon ride, the second day will start earlier than the others because the balloons take off at sunrise, at about 05.00. Alternatively, you can choose the panoramic balloon viewing service to view the balloons lift off on-site. After the event, the guides will bring you back to the hotel for a tasty breakfast.
The second day is no less fun as it revolves around exploring Cappadocia. After breakfast at the hotel, The Pasabağ Valley is the first on the list for the second day. The most enormous fairy chimneys are found in this valley. The visit to Cavusin Old Greek Village is also on this day’s bucket list, where you will visit the church of St John The Baptist. After visiting this mystical village, there will be a lunch break, and then you will be on the way to Uchisar Castle. Here, you will see two gigantic fairy chimneys used as a fortress in the past.
You will visit Pigeon Valley lastly on the second day of the excursion. This valley takes its name from hundreds of pigeons making their homes in the fairy chimneys on this site. You will have lots of beautiful photos while walking among the magnificent fairy chimneys and be amazed at the artistry of nature. Day3
The third day begins as you set out to Avanos, a cute town in Cappadocia famous for its pottery works. You will visit a pottery workshop in Avanos to see how a pottery piece is made. You can even try to make your pottery piece here. After that, you will visit the 3 Graces Fairy Chimneys, the landmark of Cappadocia. Then, the tour ends in the Cappadocia region, and you set out to Side with loads of new memories.
On the way back to Side, you will visit Oresin Caravansary, a 700-year-old inn for traders from the Seljuks Period. After a short stopover here, the return voyage continues. There will be a lunch break in Konya, and after lunch, you will visit Mevlana Museum in this city. You will be able to watch the ceremony of whirling dervishes here. The bus will be in Side around 18.30, and we will drop you off comfortably at your hotel.
